OUR STORY
Somerville Limited is a Jersey company founded in 2006 by Ian Somerville and Piotr Lewandowski. Originally starting as Staron fabricators using the latest CNC technology we have grown steadily over the years. As approved fabricators and installers of Staron, Corian, and Hi-Macs Solid Surface we are known for and committed to delivering the best quality fabrication.
In 2012 we moved to our current home at Five Oaks and invested in our second CNC machine to cut stone. All of our Silestone, Caesarstone Quartz and Granite worktops are cut on our stone CNC machine and hand polished in our workshop at Five Oaks.
Ian started his trade as a boat builder and with over 40 years of joinery experience it was always his dream to expand the business into joinery which we achieved in 2015. Our Joinery Workshop along with our Spray Shop makes us the only local company to offer a complete joinery and worktop service to both domestic and commercial clients.
The next logical step was to expand into handmade luxury kitchens. Leading us to open our Kitchen Showroom in February 2021. As a company quality and service have been the main ingredients to our success. This is why we are delighted to have partnered with Stoneham a leading British manufacturer of high quality bespoke kitchens. A family run company with over 150 years of experience and a reputation for excellence.
As well as bespoke luxury kitchens we work in other areas of the home including utility rooms, boot rooms, home offices and bedrooms and we now offer specialised media units. We also work in the commercial market supplying many local businesses with reception desks and office interiors.

Take A Closer Look At Some Of Our Recent Projects
Our client brief was, to provide a more contemporary reception area. It was also important, that the monitors were hidden, whilst still allowing easy communication between client and receptionist.
We were delighted to be part of the team involved in the transformation of both the Rue des Pres and Broad street post office. As a subcontractor on this project. In our joinery workshop, we manufactured the units and panels, which we then sprayed Red in our specialist Spray shop. And as an approved Corian fabrictor we also fabricated and fitted the Corian Glacier White countertops. The Black till monitors on the White Corian desktops did not look right, so we were given the challenge of finding an ascetically pleasing way of disguising the monitors. We came up with the solution of making White Corian covers to match the Corian countertops, which we feel work really well
