OUR STORY
Somerville is a bespoke kitchen design studio in Five Oaks Jersey dedicated to creating luxury bespoke kitchens and beautifully crafted interiors. Founded in 2006, we have grown from specialist solid surface fabricators into one of the island’s leading names in premium kitchen design, bespoke joinery and high quality worktops.

Our focus has always been on exceptional craftsmanship. We began with advanced CNC fabrication of Staron and soon became approved fabricators for Staron, Corian and Hi Macs.
As the business grew we expanded into stone, investing in dedicated CNC machinery for Silestone, Caesarstone Quartz and Granite. Every worktop is cut and hand finished in our workshop at Five Oaks.

The natural progression was to include luxury custom kitchens.
In 2021 we opened our Kitchen Showroom at Five Oaks, offering clients a calm and inspiring space to explore materials, finishes and design ideas.
Our kitchens are made to order and shaped around the way each client lives.
We are proud partners of Stoneham, a leading British manufacturer of bespoke kitchens with over one hundred and fifty years of heritage. Their craftsmanship, design flexibility and reputation for excellence align perfectly with our own values of quality, precision and service.

Alongside luxury kitchens we design and make utility rooms, boot rooms, home offices, bedrooms and specialised media units. We also continue to support the commercial sector, supplying many local businesses with reception desks and office interiors.

Take A Closer Look At Some Of Our Recent Projects
Our client brief was, to provide a more contemporary reception area. It was also important, that the monitors were hidden, whilst still allowing easy communication between client and receptionist.
We were delighted to be part of the team involved in the transformation of both the Rue des Pres and Broad street post office. As a subcontractor on this project. In our joinery workshop, we manufactured the units and panels, which we then sprayed Red in our specialist Spray shop. And as an approved Corian fabrictor we also fabricated and fitted the Corian Glacier White countertops. The Black till monitors on the White Corian desktops did not look right, so we were given the challenge of finding an ascetically pleasing way of disguising the monitors. We came up with the solution of making White Corian covers to match the Corian countertops, which we feel work really well
